I’m Sami — I build for the web, and I came up through competition mathematics before I came up through code. Those two things pull in the same direction: find the clean idea, then make it fast and usable.
Lately I’m leaning deliberately toward systems and data — smaller, sharper projects where correctness and performance are the whole point, not an afterthought. Expect the work here to drift that way.
This blog is where I think out loud:
- Build logs — what I made, what broke, what I’d do differently.
- Problem write-ups — a hard problem, worked slowly and honestly.
- Performance notes — something slow, made fast, with the numbers to show it.
If any of it is useful to you, that’s a bonus. Mostly it’s how I find out what I actually think.
